Dear colleagues

We want to inform you that as a part of the NML Congress 2025, we are pleased to offer attendees a unique opportunity to visit laboratories at Landspítalinn, Iceland’s national hospital, and possibly get a glimpse of the new Landspítali, which is under construction. These guided visits will provide participants with an inside look at the following laboratories:

  • Microbiology
  • Clinical chemistry and haemotology
  • Histopathology
  • Immunology

To ensure a quality experience, a limited number of seats will be available for the visits. We encourage you to register to the congress soon, as spots are expected to fill quickly. These visits are sure to be a great experience for Nordic biomedical scientists, who are eager to explore laboratory environments and methodologies.

We are also excited to announce that there will be a gala dinner during NML Congress 2025, which offers a wonderful opportunity to network and celebrate together.

We’re thrilled to share that we have a variety of excursions available for those who want to explore more of Iceland beyond Reykjavík. Exclusive sightseeing tours, specially curated for NML congress attendees, are offered, along with optional scheduled tours for those interested.

For more information about these tours, please visit www.nml2025.is and navigate to the “Excursions” section. Please note that the exclusive sightseeing tours have limited availability, and spots will be secured on a first-come, first-served basis. These exclusive tours can only be booked and paid for directly through the registration process. Optional tours, on the other hand, are to be booked through their information page (Excursions – nml2025).

Finally, we would like to inform you that the registration for the NML Congress 2025 has opened and that the abstract deadline is December 15.

On behalf of the organizing committee,
Eva Hauksdóttir
